Opened in 1998, our boutique store has brought a revolutionary vision of contemporary pastry making to Padua.
We have been setting trends in Padua for over 20 years, with our major renovation in 2016 allowing us to carve out a generous space in which we could bring together the sweet and the savoury under our Bistrot roof.
An elegant setting, with an interior design handled by leading names in international architecture, with a view to creating an interior that strikes a perfect balance between exclusivity and a reassuring homely warmth.
Here, Luigi Biasetto’s mastery is teamed with the dedication of his brother Alessandro and expertise of his wife Sandra Gardin. She’s the one who looks after the place’s image, giving it a unique style, from the show-stopping display cabinets to the products’ presentation. A feminine touch that makes the interior warm and welcoming.
The Biasetto pastry shop is a member of the prestigious Relais Desserts association, which brings together the world’s elite pastry chefs and chocolatiers.
Accolades have been plentiful, both at home and further afield. From gold in the World Pastry Cup in ’97 to a plethora of annual awards. Just a few examples: Bar of the Year in ’04 awarded by premier food publication Gambero Rosso, which also awarded us its star in 2014 for 10 years of excellence, its Three Coffee Beans and Three Silver Cups; special mention in the Guida Gelaterie d’Italia 21 guide to Italy’s best gelato places; Three Cakes in the Guida alle migliori Pasticcerie d’Italia guide to Italy’s best pastry shops, which honoured us as “a meeting place for gourmands and gourmets from all over the world.“
Our latest accolades included a place on the podium for the “best Italian artisan panettone” in 2018 and in 2020 in the Sky and Gazzetta “Artisti del Panettone” competition.
